Elsternwick room available from start of July!
Hi everyone, we have a room available in Elsternwick from the start of July. Hopefully you like cats (I have 1 cat) and are looking for a place to live for around 12 months.
The room is a decent size with a nice large window/door to let in the light, that leads to a private outdoor area.
With big windows on all 4 sides our place feels more like a house than an apartment. There is a big lounge room and kitchen and has a balcony, where you are welcome to grow some plants. (I hope you have more success than me)
The house includes a washing machine, fridge and dishwasher.
Couldn't get a better location, only a 5 minutes walk to the train station whilst also being very quiet. Shopping area with a coles, cinema, organic grocery store, bars, cafes and more just a stones throw away! It’s a 15 minute train ride into the city and only a 25 minute walk to the beach which is great over summer.
We enjoy living in a positive environment and are open to anyone moving in so long as they are respectful and clean up after themselves. We are a pretty quiet household, not big party people.

Rent is $905 a month and the price doesn't include bills. Bond is $966!
You will be living with Marcela and myself (I’m Courtney) and my cat, Floof. (Floof is a rescue and can be very nervous when he meets new people. He needs to be the only pet in the household, so unfortunately we can not accept applicants with pets, sorry)
We have a pretty unstructured household and pitch in with keeping the house clean and stocked with TP etc. as needed. Communication and cleaning up after yourself is important!
What we are looking for in a housemate is someone preferably in their 20's or 30's that is kind and easy-going. Someone who is down for a movie night, but also likes their own space! Like every other listing on here we are looking for someone who cleans up the communal areas after themselves and contributes to general household cleaning!
