This UniLodge building has around 50 students living in it, all in studio apartments. There is no reception in this building however our 'reception' is located on Swanston street if you need to talk to someone. There is a spacious common area on the third level that is equipped with a big TV, small outdoor balcony, couches, tables and chairs, books, movies, etc.

There is a laundry facility on the ground floor with 3 washers and 3 dryers for you to get all your washing done with out having to leave the building! Plenty of bike storage, onsite mailboxes, and notice boards with all the cool things going on around the city.

This cosy yet generous studio apartment is located literally across the road from the Queen Vic Markets! You can just duck across to stock up on all kinds of market goodies, not to mention dinner from the Night Market on Wednesdays! Its about a 5-10 minute walk to RMIT university, 10 minute walk to Melbourne Central, and short tram rides away from all else the city has to offer.

This room is on the first floor, right at the back of the building so you don't get too much street noise. The walls are fairly soundproof anyway so its very peaceful. I have ALMOST city views, you can see the skyrises above the building next door. There's and intercom to the front door of the building so you can buzz up your guests or know if your parcel or uber eats has arrived! To access the building there is a swipe chip, and to access the apartment there is a key.

The kitchenette is equipped with dual plate stovetop, microwave, and fridge as well as cupboards and drawers for storage. There is a fully equipped ensuite, wardrobe, incredibly spacious study space (with pin board, drawers, shelves etc.), tv, table and chair, double bed, and reverse cycle air-con/heating. The two windows open up in south and east directions which means in summer you probably won't even need to turn the air-con on.

Rent is $1374.00 per calendar month which works out to be about $317 per week. Bond is 4 weeks rent. The bills (water and electricity) are not included in the rent and invoices come out monthly (electricity) and quarterly (water). There is free wifi in the common area on level 3, however in the apartment itself there is no wifi. Unilodge have however partnered with a company that you can set up through which makes it easy peasy, or you can just bring your own/set your own up.
