Kangaroo Point is the perfect inner-city hub, with a very cosmopolitan lifestyle, and still close enough to the city without the hustle and bustle.
Only a short walk to Brisbane’s iconic Story Bridge and the popular Story Bridge Hotel which is great for a drink in the afternoon. Also, located under the Story Bridge is Howard Smith Wharves, Brisbane’s newest entertainment and lifestyle destination, a new riverside precinct with bars, cafes and eateries loved by residents and visitors.
Kangaroo Point is definitely a popular recreation spot with walk paths and bicycle paths running along the Brisbane River, as well as fantastic picnic and lookout spots.
Only a stone’s throw from South Bank, where you will find many casual cafes, fine dining restaurants and takeaway food options if you feel like a break from cooking. Or maybe you want to soak up the sun at South Bank Parklands “Streets Beach”, Australia’s only inner-city, man-made beach free to use :)
This early 1900’s colonial timber, beautiful 7-bedroom home, is located across the Brisbane River and Kangaroo Point Cliffs, with Brisbane city views!

Convenient public transport with bus stop at your doorstep and ferry terminal across the street. FREE ferry service “CityHopper” runs every 30 minutes between 6am and midnight, 7 days a week.
Only minutes to QUT and all CBD Universities and Colleges, and just a short walk to Shafston International College.
All our rooms are fully furnished, but we are flexible with furnishings, so if you prefer to bring your own, that is not a problem. Also, rooms have both a ceiling fan and air-conditioner and an individual door lock.
Currently we have 2 rooms available for rent:
1. ROOM 1 - 3rd level with city views outside your window. Weekly rent is $260.
2. ROOM 2 - 2nd level (great size room). Weekly rent is $260.
All utilities are included in the rent, so there are no bills for you to worry about – we’ve got that all covered. Internet is also provided and as mentioned above, there’s an individual car park for each room.
As an added bonus, we provide professional weekly house cleaning of all the common areas of the home, that way it helps to keep the house clean and tidy.
Regarding bond, we only ask for 2 weeks bond and 2 weeks rent in advance.
The housemates currently living in the home are a great group who all get on quite well. They’re friendly, social and respectful of each other’s space and privacy. As they all come and go at different times, they have a “house group chat” as a way to keep in touch, where they can communicate with one another. Sometimes they may organise a social event, whether it be a Sunday afternoon BBQ/cold drinks, a game night or a movie night and they will do this via the group chat :)
Don’t let the fact that it’s a big house scare you or put you off, as you will find there is a lot of times you will be at home and feel like you have the whole place to yourself! You will never find that everybody is home at the same time.
